This is a totally non-PC message, and NOT to be followed. But those of us who have had cancer realise that if we didn’t laugh at all the black humour that crops up – WE’D GIVE UP!
PLEASE don’t read on if you are of a nervous disposition.
Get plenty of exercise because it builds your immune system, swimming, cycling and walking,
take the stairs instead of the lift, etc.
Wash your hands often.
If you can’t, keep a bottle of antibacterial stuff around.
Get lots of fresh air.
Open doors & windows whenever possible. Personally I take a bus – don’t like being shut into underground – with nowhere for floating germs to escape.
In other words, be sensible and follow medic’s advice, avoid stress where possible and get plenty of fresh air.
Take the doctor’s approach.
Think about it…
When you go for a flu jab, what do they do first? Clean your arm with alcohol…
Because Alcohol KILLS GERMS.
You could walk to the pub. (exercise)
Put lime in vodka…(fruit)
Celery in Bloody Mary (veggies)
Drink outdoors on the patio..(fresh air)
Tell jokes and laugh….(eliminate stress)
Then pass out. (rest)
The way I see it…
If you keep your alcohol levels up,
flu germs can’t get you!
‘A shot in the glass
is better than one in the Axxx!’
