These darn drugs – they seem to attack the stronger sex just as much, but of course being men they don’t like to complain about cancer side effects such as dry skin – it’s not seen as mannish!

Well boys – your skin is vitally important, and if you neglect it this leaves room for nasty germs to invade and all sorts of other problems.

I’ll admit, even though I’m not on any medication, I have my own share of skin problems. Mostly in the form of dry patches in various parts of my body. I thought it was eczema at first, but when I saw what eczema looked like, I changed my mind on that.

Yes we have skin problems too. Many times worse than women because we tend not to pamper ourselves like women do. Well at least most men. I think it is always good and my mother taught me well to care for my skin because it is largest organ that the body has.

Men usually ignore their skin and all, they feel that taking care of skin is too feminine a job. But they are seriously mistaken- they also need to pamper and take care of their skin. As our skin gets lot of exposure to heat, cold and dirt, we need to keep it clean and well moist. I have three male members in the house, I have to help all of them in taking care of their facial skin and the rest of the body too.

Gotta admit that as a guy, I didn’t pay a lot of attention to my skin until I got older. When I used to live in an area near the ocean, my skin was always smooth and moist. Now that I live in a really dry climate, I’ve done more to keep my skin healthy than I have in the past. Besides using skin care products when needed, I also installed a water softener in my home. Although there are times when my skin is still dry, it’s not as bad as it was a year ago.
